"First time staying here. We were a bit dubious as we drove up because from the outside it looked dated and there were extensive ground works taking place in the car park. We were pleasantly surprised on entering the hotel. It was very modern and smartly decorated/furnished and the staff very helpful at check in. The room was large and very comfortably furnished. The bathroom was very clean and had a large walk in shower. Breakfast next morning was great with a large selection of hot and cold options, and the dining room looked out onto a delightfully landscaped garden/seating area. Would definitely recommend and stay here again"

The highlight for us was to enjoy the wellness centre consisting of sauna, steam bath and swimming pool. Perhaps, the only negative side of the stay, and certainly not ideal for sleeping concerned the noise of the doors which close rather loudly. One of the managers did tell me though, that they intend to put this right in the future. It seems incredible to me that people are unaware in hotels in the late hours about things like this without any consideration allowing doors to slam shut..."
