The Cliffden Hotel

"Absolutely fantastic!!! Well done Team Cliffden"
Langstone Cliff
8/10 Good
"Wonderful hotel. Very good breakfast & a fab location close to the beach! If you enjoy fishing, take a rod because they beach at Langstone rock can be great in summer"
Boutique, 4 bedroom detached house
10/10 Excellent
"Great space for 6 adults one baby and one dog. Chris always responded to our queries in a timely fashion. We had three cars so had to park one down the road a bit. One on the drive and one in a space by the garden wall. Very good location for getting into town. It’s uphill from the station so works the legs a bit. Lovely outside space at the front with table and six chairs."
Riviera Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"Location was great. The apartment was top notch"
A 6 bedroom property, 2 minute walk to the sea front, beach and restaurants.
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent property minutes from the beach and the town. Spacious comfortable rooms and outdoor space for dining, which was a real asset in the warm weather. Excellent communication with the host, who facilitated all our needs. Would definitely recommend."
Lyme Bay House
10/10 Excellent
"The owners were very informative on where to visit & where we would find nice places to eat, for our evening meal. Nikki & Ian the owners are very helpful. The breakfast is wonderful no fault at all, there is nothing they will not do for you, I enjoy a green tea which they had & Nikki offered fresh lemon, lime or mint with it. Also I like an omelette. After talking to both Nikki & Ian about my love of Thai food, I was offered Thai chilli in my omelette which was very tasty & spicy but not too spicy. My husband could not fault the full English breakfast. Everything was freshly cooked to order. The room was spacious & clean, with replenished toiletries & tea & coffee each day. We visited Teignmouth, which is a lovely sea side resort where we got the ferry across to Shaldon. Definitely worth a visit. Also Dawlish Warren is a lovely family friendly beach, plenty to do to keep the children occupied. Dawlish itself is a very nice resort, everyone very friendly with a new cray golf for all the family of any age. All the beaches have dog friendly areas aswell as no dog zones."
Luxury & comfort with sea views, Cinema room & gym
10/10 Excellent
"We were a family party of 3 couples (parents (70's), son & daughter plus their partners (all in their 30's) and this was ideal accommodation both to be all together & to breakout, especially with the Football World Cup in full flow. The living space over the lower two floors is spacious, comfortable, providing exceptional views of the sea & the sub-tropical vegetation. they also incorporated all modern devices of excellent quality set up for easy use with guides & advice on the provided tablets. Comparing the comprehensive advertised description with the reality of living there, the description is accurate and if anything the experience exceeds that description. The place was c lean and well prepared on arrival, easy secure access, good parking off road for two large cars and you are immediately hit by the extensive sea view and beautiful living area. The numerous bathrooms/WC's made for unchallenged access at all times including the full facilities in the lower garden room and extended terrace. The beds and furniture were all excellent quality & comfortable. Alas I can't comment on in situ communication with the host, because everything went smoothly and was well prepared both prior to arrival and provided during our stay. The walk to Teignmouth was enjoyable and relatively short, the beaches are beautiful and spacious when the tide is out and although an uphill return was more taxing, worth it for the views. Thankyou host for your attention to detail and ecological choices"
The Thornhill
