"Great apartment, convenient location, excellent communication.
We stayed as a family of 6 adults and had plenty of room in this comfortable, well equipped and well furnished apartment.
Parking can be a bit difficult, but we always managed. The shop is quite well stocked and Naveed communicated well and promptly."
"Brilliant location, on the headland with views of the sea from the restaurant and our bedroom. Staff very friendly, excellent gluten free options particularly the cinnamon cheesecake! and they willingly let us use their big white towels on the beach when we didn't bring our own. Really lovely 2 day visit."
"The bedroom and how tidy it was and the cooked breakfast and the most of all the staff there that work they were kind and considerate and went beyond there means to support me when staying will definitely would come back again to stay there"

"Very impressed. Although the room was a bit dated it was spotlessly clean. The garden and views are very impressive and the staff were helpful. Lovely buffet breakfast and the swimming pool area was very modern. We used it twice and had it to ourselves! I'd put it above 3 stars."

"The views from the property are just amazing and waking up each morning to it was a highlight for me. There were 6 adults and 4 children in our party and having the pool/spa was great. In hindsight, after meeting the owner on checkout, we should have contacted him about how to work the swim jets as there were no instructions and suggested that they could be in the information pack. Tony was responsive to questions about other things so wished we'd asked. The mattresses on 2 of the double beds need an upgrade as a bit uncomfortable, again we talked this through with Tony on checkout and he was very responsive. The hot tub outside is a tub you fill with hot water not the heated kind you would assume so we didn't use this during our stay. The aircon worked well at keeping the top floor attic room cooler. Only reason for a 4 on cleanliness was the dishwasher which didn't clean well so we ended up doing the washing up by hand. The rest of the house was very clean. Could do with some mats for the dining table. Dawlish itself is a short walk down the hill with boat trips and local shops. We went to Pennywell Farm which was great for the kids. We also visited the House of Marbles, Trago Mills both about 40 minutes away. Dawlish Warren Beach was a lovely day out as was a trip to Exmouth to the Ocean soft play, which you need to book online. We saw the steam train from the garden. Lovely welcome pack of a Devon cream tea. Overall a great place to stay. "
"A lovely stay, here. Good communication before and during visit on Vrbo app from host. Didn't realise we saw the owner many times outside the property, as was never made aparent to us that the chap working in the garages and using the shared drive was the person I had been communicating with for almost a year about our stay. I think most people would expect a 'hello I'm "x" the owner hope you enjoy your stay' or 'hi, I'm "x" who you've been speaking with on the app' or something along those lines. We found out on the last day when he dropped some bedding insisting he took it in to the property himself and took the video doorbell away and it was all a bit odd...Also, as stated, please be aware that there is a video doorbell which overlooks the patio. We covered it with a couple of skin plasters to try and have some privacy. Rooms are lovely with lots of interesting posters and decor. Loved the games room and the kitchen was well equiped. Beds, bedding and towels were all good. Games room and pool table were a great selling point and didn't disappoint. Driveway really only holds one car unless very small Smart or VW Up style cars which could then possibly fit two front to back. But there is on street parking on the road outside and we always found space despite the double yellows. Really lovely place though and would absolutely recommend. "
