"Really nice place to stay. Breakfast good although exactly the same every day. Had to ask, at checkout, for 25% off food and drink that was part of the deal. Terrible wifi."

Mindil Beach Casino Resort

Mindil Beach Casino Resort

8/10 Good
"The location right on the beach is fabulous and creates a great ambience for a vacation. Room was a great size but getting a bit dated. Floor tiles in the WC could use a good clean. Reception staff were really good - knew their stuff and were very friendly. When I asked if the staff in the lagoon bar could chase up our cocktails and food order they simply stated it had been 20 minutes - nothing else. The cocktails were very much below par when they did arrive. Similarly in the restaurant with a verandah in the infinity area we ordered pizza and a bottle of wine. Pizza arrived but I had to chase up with 3 different staff members re the wine. Not one had come back with an update. These hospitality issues should be easily remediated with appropriate training - I hope these folk receive it in order to better present the resort. Everything else was really positive."

"Great location walking distance to everything in the CBD. Furnishings in the room a bit old and tired, bathroom needs an update, however, the shower was excellent with great water pressure. Breakfast at Salvatores next door was very good, food was terrific and staff very friendly and efficient. Overall an enjoyable stay, a bit overpriced but certainly would consider staying there again."

"Nice hotel in a convenient location. Apartment was modern, light and airy. Comfortable beds but smallish bedrooms. Lovely pool but very limited gym. The restaurant downstairs and room service were excellent, and the staff were helpful."
