I did not like that the lot was not very lit at all, and there were several parties/groups wandering the property, one of which approached me and seemed like they were either drunk or on some sort of drugs.
The service during check-in was abysmal, as the staff extremely poor with communication, and instead of speaking with me, they pointed at things while expecting me to understand what they wanted. To be clear, I speak English, and they were both speaking English as well as their native language, so I know there wasn’t a language barrier.
My room had a the dead bolt broken off of it, and the door would never fully close and seal, it was able to be pushed in and would float back out a little, so it wouldn’t have taken much of an effort to open it if someone wanted to. There were also many flies in the bedroom Ila’s well as the bathroom (the entire rental area). The bathroom toilet was both broken aesthetically as well as physically. It would not flush until I took the back piece off, manually assisted it so it could fill with water, then let it go so it would flush itself.
The staff was extremely unreceptive during checkout, being very dismissive and claiming that when I attempted to get a refund through Expedia, that the staff never tried to contact them, whereas they did multiple times the night I checked in, as well as multiple times following my checkout at the number the staff at the hotel gave me, stating they ALWAYS answer. I won’t be returning here again.
