Great location in the old town. Staff were amazing, helpful and happy. Rooms were exceptionally comfortable and included breakfast was brilliant. Meals were good and outside deck for an afternoon drink very enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again - been travelling for 7 weeks and best property we have stayed at.

Stunning room with a luxurious bathroom. The staff were charming and it was a great location - not far from the city and with great restaurants near by. Would certainly come stay again anytime we come to Edinburgh

My sister and I stayed for one night on our way through Scotland and we're very impressed with Prestonfield House from the moment our taxi stopped.
The staff were attentive and very helpful. We were booking in late following a tour and the staff ensures our luggage was swiftly taken to our room and our dinner reservation held while we freshened up. We stayed in Room 1, the red room - absolutely magnificent! The heated bathroom floor was an unexpected luxury for us Australians! So was the...

I love a quirky hotel, i.e., not the same tired layout for every room. This hotel is quirky, and does it with style and class. Amazing staff too - they're evidently proud of the place. Recommend.

A very well appointed apartment hotel in a quiet but central location. Good facilities including a kitchenette and washing machine. Reasonably spacious layout for a studio apartment. Large well designed bathroom with plenty of storage space. My only criticism was that the wooden floor felt a bit sticky underfoot as though it needed a good wash and when i looked under the bed to retreive a dropped item there was a build up of dust. Friendly young staff.

Our favourite hotel in Edinburgh, with brilliant service, room, food and drinks. Attention to detail is faultless and we are always made to feel at home. Beautiful artworks adorn every wall and room decor is comfortable and stylish.
