APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower

10/10 Excellent
"This property is in the Ryogkoku District of Tokyo, a stones throw from the Edo-Tokyo Museum. It is also within walking distance to the Ryogoku Metro. The room was clean, though a bit small. We had to store our suitcases under the beds. The Tokyo view was fabulous from the 23rd floor. We had two meals at the hotel:one buffet breakfast at $44.00 for two and a buffet dinner at $64.00 for two. Needless to say, we found it to be quite pricey. However, there are several restaurants in the area which are quite a bit less. We plan on returning to this lovely hotel."

Shinagawa Prince Hotel

Shinagawa Prince Hotel

8/10 Good
"I only stayed here for two nights just for convenience of being close to Shinagawa station. It’s a massive hotel complex with lots of different connecting buildings and offers a variety of things to do and services. I didn’t take advantage of any of those but I had a good stay here regardless. The rooms are on the older side but they were clean and comfortable. It’s also a very convenient location close to many dining options and Shinagawa station across the street."

Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Shiodome

Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Shiodome

10/10 Excellent
"Genuinely I cannot fault anything at this hotel or staff. New to Japan & travelling on our honeymoon. We stayed in the Executive King Room with Tatami area for our first week. On arrival the staff went above and beyond to give us a great experience. The in-room amenities were perfect. I loved they had an ink-stamp in the lobby and such a great way to kick-start the memory making. Room was perfect; great views, excellent size, good shower and toilet. Coffee machine pods were lovely too & helped us with jet lag! Breakfast was a beautiful mix; a good introduction to cuisine whilst retaining a familiar comfort/staple. Subway line right outside for convenience - but noting needed a few changes to get to places we were going and added a bit of time onto each day (but all the more reason to relax back in the room!!). Worth the cost? Absolutely. I would take another long haul flight just to stay again. Perfectly suited a once-in-a-lifetime trip or a lengthy business trip."
