Fantastic hotel in a good location in Yokohama - close to subway stations and easy to get to both Yokohama and Shin-Yokohama stations (we walked to Yokohama station easily as well). The room was huge and very comfortable for a family of four. Futons were really comfortable and the included breakfast was nice (there is a takeaway option which was handy on mornings when we needed to leave early). Lots of coffee shops and resaurants around the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Hi would highly recommend staying here as it is a very authentic Japanese experience. The tatami beds are surprisingly comfortable and we really enjoyed our time here, it’s close to Gotanda station and supermarket/ family mart are very close by. Please keep in mind that the walls are quite thin so its important to keep quiet to respect other guests, also you can hear the train as it goes past but that didn’t us at all.

Lovely staff and traditional style building but be warned this comes with paper thin walls so hopefully your fellow guests are considerate and quiet.

Taka-san was friendly and in fluent English explained all the important stuff like where Jacuzzi, Showers, Breakfast, Tea etc were. Traditional breakfast was also nicely described. He helped us dispose old luggage at extra cost, per regulation. Good service. Clean place. Convenient location.

The property have traditional outlook. It's perfect for anyone who want to experience the staying in Japanese style room. The only downside is since the building is old so you will need to watch out for the noise from other guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Kamogawa. The location was very central and easily accessible. The staff were fantastic, incredibly helpful and generous with their time.

Location is amazing. Central to trains, convenience stores, eateries, police, banks…you name it. Communication with staff was excellent through the chat function of our Expedia boooing. Responded quickly with good information. There are washer/dryer machines on-site. The wash function works perfectly, the drying will take a long time. This seems standard though for dryers in Japan. I had a load drying in for 2 hours and it was all still damp. We ended up just hanging it all up in our room on...
