"While visiting Crater Lake hotels are somewhat limited and notvery close Dawson house lodge was one of the closet. This property was older and all upstairs but no elevator if i was rating it as a hotel, for the price i would give it two stars however the dtaff was kind and helpful"

"This property is about half way between Klamath Falls and Crater Lake, which worked out well for us because we visited Tule Lake American Concentration camp. It was clean and quiet. The A/C is a swamp cooler, but there are lots of fans. There were a couple of issues but management was very cooperative in correcting them. Crater lake is amazing, make sure to visit."

"Cute little house just outside Crater Lake NP. Area wide power outage (due to thunderstorm probably), and host communicated the issue, expected restore time, and available lighting options in the house. Power came on 2 hours earlier than expected. Really appreciated the communication from the host."

Spacious Western Home on 2 acres in the Pines close to Crater Lake

Nice neighborhood

"The home was clean and spacious. Our kids LOVED the Wii. The proximity to Crater Lake was fantastic without actually being able to stay within the park itself. The beds were nice and comfy and the kitchen well appointed. Be sure to pick up groceries in Klamath Falls before arriving to Chiloquin as the grocery stores don’t have much. "

"It was a very nice getaway experience in the wilderness lol! The cabin was nice and spacious and it would be good to share with families or friends. The lady at front desk is super nice and helped us a lot with our late check-in. There is a cafe around the property, which is very convenient given that they are in the forests!!"

The River House. 5 miles from Crater Lake entrance.

Good Birding

"The property is much bigger than the description indicates. It is well landscaped with several picnic tables down by the river. The porch is huge with good birding and outdoor dining. Can’t beat the location for a convenient entry point into Crater Lake NP."

Perfect stay

"This cabin was delightful! The house was so comfortable. We loved the outdoor tubs and shower. My husband grilled and we enjoyed the backyard! Even made friends with a couple llamas and horse down the road :) Perfect base to explore Crater Lake!"
