1880's Farm House on a Christmas Tree Farm 5 Minutes to Oregon State University
10/10 Excellent
"Dale and Peggy are wonderful hosts. Our son was getting married and I was preparing the flowers and decor, and they were very accommodating. The home is absolutely charming, and we had a great time wandering through Dale’s pottery shop. The back patio was probably our favorite place. Sitting under those beautiful Oregon white oaks and playing games, the family who traveled with had a chance to enjoy each other’s company and play games well into the evening. We are already looking for an excuse to come back."
"My daughter and I were in Corvallis to move her into her new apartment. This home was a perfect landing place for us at the end of long work days. We were grateful for the clean environment and the comfortable beds. The location was wonderful and in a very quiet neighborhood. It was a wonderful stay!"
"They took in consideration, my age and health, and gave us a ground floor room, it was an upgrade since the lower floor units had 2 beds. Thank you for your generosity. "
'The Old Rock Quarry Studio' 6 mi N of OSU! Benton County Approved and Legal
10/10 Excellent
"The Old Rock Quarry Studio is homey, comfortable, and clean. It features everything you might want in an extended stay. As mentioned in a previous stay with this host, there is a notable attention to detail here. It is green out of every window, and skylights that open add clean, country air. Note that parking is for one car including local guests. Note too that Check-out is 10:00, not the usual 11:00, I had to apologize for my failure to do so on time. I'll look for this place the next time I am visiting nearby Adair Village."
"We had a beautiful corner room on the 3rd floor, so we had the best river view! We enjoyed the staff and all the little touches that made it a terrific stay--nice breakfast, even decent coffee (rare for a free breakfast bar!), and the cookies at night were a terrific surprise. The linens and the bed were supremely comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay!"
