"We we unaware that the place was under construction, so bar and breakfast area were closed. Not sure if they were in the process of putting up or dismantling a water slide, but they could've done a better job keeping the area cleaner. One of our rooms bathroom fan would NOT shut off. When we reported it to the front desk, the lady brushed us off and said they've already had maintenance check it out several times, and maintenance could not figure out why it wasn't working. Very annoying when trying to sleep or relax. My mom's room had moldy blankets and staff took forever to vome and change them and get the dirty ones out of the room. Very disappointed in Sonesta. I expected much better. Other staff were very nice, however. "

"During our stay, we had marijuana pumping through the vent into our room. This was super disturbing and really strong. I went to the front desk and they were spraying febreeze in the air on their floor to neutralize the smell. It was so bad on our floor. They gave me febreeze to spray in our room and said I’m over it. Take it! It continued to smell in our hallway the following day. Nothing was done to compensate for this horrible experience!"

"Nice house located on a busy street. Beds were very comfortable, sheets and duvet are soft and clean. Convenient to so many attractions. Family of eight stayed a weekend in May for KCAD graduation. Walked to Fulton St Farmers Market. Timely communication with Lexis allowed us to check-in early. "
