"Lovely property but hard to keep the gardens at their best with the current drought in Hampshire. Our room #3 was beautiful, good shower and bathroom, very comfortable bed. The outdoor seating area could use a clean up around the the apple tree but no doubt hard to do given the hot summer weather. The fish and chips was terrible. The full English breakfast was good. Overall a lovely stay. West Meon is a beautiful village. Unfortunate about all the drivers who race through the main road of the village. Almost got run over trying to cross the road. Maybe speed bumps could help."

"The house was great in a beautiful location and beautiful surroundings. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there was lots of space to chill out and relax and play games. Only downside was some outside bins were already full, and clear signage to help with when those bins need to be put out to be emptied would be very helpful. Great property and we would stay again."

"We were looking for somewhere to base ourselves before our daughterβs wedding nearby. We asked if it was possible for make up artists, photographers, wedding cars etc to attend and the owners could not have been more helpful. We stayed the night before the wedding with the bride to be and her sisters, it was absolutely perfect for us as a family, and plenty of light and space for the wedding preparations, then us parents returned to relax and unwind on Sunday afternoon and evening! The Cart House is wonderful, everything has been thought of, and it is a very pleasant, relaxing place to stay."
