"Great location. Quiet and beautiful gardens. It was lovely to see the stars at night and listen to the waves when falling asleep. Bowls club and Oasis right next door were very convenient as well. A great stay!"

"The staff were excellent, and the greeting lobby and main rooms have clearly been recently renovated. Those areas are lovely and very clean! The bed and pillows were comfortable, too. I also have to commend the insulation and windows - we were right on the main road and only on the first floor, but we could hardly hear the traffic at all!
However, it seems they didn't touch the bathrooms when they did the main rooms - those are outdated, with chipped tiles, mildewy corners, shower taps missing covers, fan knob that doesn't work, toilet seat/lid that doesn't quite fit the bowl underneath, etc. It seems as clean-kept as possible, but they desperately need to reno the bathrooms to match the rest of the space.
The attached restaurant was pretty good. Our cocktails were unique and delicious, my husband's chicken schnitzel was great, but my chicken carbonara pasta was over-sauced and bland. Overall though, it was worth not having to go off-site for dinner."
"1st time staying at the View hotel. Staff were amazing Roman in Chester’s bar, Clementine in restaurant and Kylie on main desk. Staff remembered our coffee/ drinks order from the 1st order.
Breakfast had plenty of choices, great coffee
We were upgraded to a room with view on the river, room was spacious, couch, coffee table, plus table and chairs for meals.
Queen bed was very comfortable and room was very dark and quiet so made for a good nights sleep. Shower pressure was really good!
Will definitely return next time we re in Brisbane"
"The check in staff were very kind and friendly. Would highly recommend. It is walking distance from the airport - If you can walk 10-15 minutes I would recommend this over the shuttle"
"The stay was good the only issue was that it had offered airport shuttle but you had to book this in advance and it only operated Monday to Friday to 5pm. You would have to Uber if outside these times."
"Check in was great and lady on desk was very helpful. We have stayed at same motel quiet a few times and in same room.
Noticed this time the shower head needs replacing, it is broken and quite grotty.
Other than that, a perfect stay again,
We will be back on our next visit to Brisbane."
