"Its been remodeled really well with beautifully chosen decor and a lovely modern esthetic. Beds are incredibly comfortable, sheets were crisp and clean, the shower was stunning but could have been cleaned a bit better. The mirror in the wasroom was heated and lighted which was AMAZING when taking a shower it didn't steam up. Unfortunately there were beard trimmings all over the sink that was NOT from us but i just brushed them away with the wet facecloth. The mini fridge also had a freezer and there was a built in 2 burner ceramic stove top with new cupboards and all the things you would need to cook and eat provided wgich was kinda nice if we needed it. The only really crappy part was that we got zero rest as there was workers staying all around us and were noisey and rowdy all night yelling, laughing and making a huge amount of noise all night which didnt lend to rest or sleep for my family. We only got a couple hours sleep between them and their dogs barking. The staff were super sweet and very friendly. We called them at 930pm to ask about quiet hrs but they said they would talk to the guys. Unfortunately they only stayed quiet for a little while and were back being loud and obnoxious. We let the manager know in the morning and he was so apologetic and said he was going to have a chat with them as he knew who they were and offered us to stay again to make up for that night. We woukd definitely stay there again if were not by the loud workers and in a different area."

"This historical, tudor-style building had eight well appointed rooms. We stayed in the Jurors' Room which was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The photos, mementos and relics in the hallways were amazing....just like being in a museum! The entire experience was very laid back. It was the housekeeper who checked us in (in fact, we didn't see anyone at registration upon arriving nor leaving) and this was just fine as nothing was lacking, except perhaps for a kleenex box in the room. The beds and linens were super comfortable. The hot water in the shower took a long time to arrive but there was a much appreciated note about this (it is an old building) and once it arrived, it was hot and plentiful! The free hot breakfast made to order in the restaurant was excellent and we absolutely loved the photos and story of Edie Rae. We will definitely return to this gem."
