"This was our first time here and it is in a great location for exploring many waterfalls and surrounding towns. It has a beautiful entrance way that is inviting and we enjoyed having our coffee each morning on the couch facing the stone fireplace. Behind the hotel there is a landscaped waterfall with several places to relax and enjoy some social time. The room was clean and had a good size frig and area to heat up food if we ate in. The staff is exceptional and attentive. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was well staffed each morning. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area."

"As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there!"

"Older facility , clean and well kept. Large pool, could use some updating. The Hotel structure is beautiful with some interesting amenities and decor. Staff are pleasant and very informative . Restaurant and bar areas are clean and set up well. The breakfast looked very appealing at the buffet , ordered off the menu and was delicious. Parking is free and is off street with easy access to Hotel"
