"Average place, average service, typical breakfast"

"Unfortunately, we were disappointed because we were looking for a place with an indoor pool to keep the children entertained. I knew from staying there the last time a few years ago that there was an indoor pool so I chose this location as it is a very nice hotel and the beds are very comfortable. However, their indoor amenity center has been torn down and they informed us that the city has bought the property that it stands on. They did inform that they are rebuilding an attached amenity center. The other center was detached, but on the same property. That all sounds exciting, except their website does not disclose this project and the website shows that they have an indoor pool. "

"I love staying at the Double Tree in downtown Asheville. The staff are very friendly, courteous and professional. I would give it 5+ stars if the pool was about 3 degrees warmer. Excellent place to stay in Asheville!"

"The continental breakfast is nothing special but gets the job done, cereal, muffins, waffle maker, juice, coffee, and yogurt. Room was clean and included a mini fridge and microwave which is a huge plus. AC unit kept rattling but that might of just been my room. Overall, it was a good experience."

"Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful! Top notch service all the way around! Loved sitting on the patio at the watch and people watching in the evening! Then the rooftop for sunset and cocktails, then the lower level for live music and arcade games! It was a special treat to have a breakfast bag delivered to the door in the morning as well as afternoon, charcuterie, cheese, and wine that was complementary. The location was wonderful and using the valet made everything so easy!"
