  • Brand new house built from the ground up October 2018. The Hot tub sits on the back patio where you will have complete privacy.

    Fort Carson Army base along with the COS airport is right around the corner! The neighborhood is gorgeous but it's also very quiet and secure. Be prepared to relax & enjoy the rocky Mountain View's from the back patio. Lastly we're close to other military bases.
    The space
    Wando Best a kept Secret is a huge 6 bed 3 1/2 bath house located in a great neighborhood. The first thing you will notice as you walk up to the home is the charming covered front porch. There's a theatre room as soon as you walk in to your right.

    The great open floor plan leads you into the bright and airy kitchen and dining area that boasts the same wood flooring, a large bay window and a walk-out to the patio and backyard., The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and plenty of cabinet and counter space - a room you and your family will absolutely enjoy!

    The wood flooring continues throughout the hallway on the main level that leads to 4 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms upstairs. There is also a laundry/mud room convenientiv located on the upstairs level!

    The basement has a large recreational room that is perfect for a 2nd living area or a game area! There are 2 additional bedrooms on this level as well as another bathroom with a walk-in shower! Even nice and newer carpeting!!!

    Enjoy outdoor entertaining with family and friends in the fully-fenced backyard with a large concrete patio! This home is beautifully landscaped and has something for everyone. It's perfect for groups as well as anyone looking for a nice getaway out in beautiful Colorado Springs.

    Guests have full access to the entire house along with the mega game room located in the basement. The entire place is yours!
    Other things to note
    The house is 4/20 friendly but all smoking must be done on front or back patio areas. Otherwise there's a $500 charge. No pets allowed.

The pros for this property is the size, plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and the location. The cons - it is very “lived in” every carpet has stains, the couches had rips, the towels were dingy and furniture was scuffed up. On our second day the air conditioning was not working properly. When I reached out to the owner my reply (a couple hours later) was that it has not happened before and to try to unlock it. Not at all helpful. We were also excited to have a movie night in the theater room but unfortunately there were no instructions on how to use the projector. I come to Colorado Springs every year to visit family. I will probably pick a different property on my next visit.

This beautiful home has so much potential. While this host offers a clean home, he also offers amenities that are there but don’t work. The whole purpose of us choosing this place was for the amenities. Me and my husband spent almost an hour trying to hook up the equipment to watch movies and were unsuccessful. I messaged the host and he half-heartedly gave me suggestions of what we could do to make it work. We ended up giving up. I specifically asked him after reading his poor reviews on AirBNB, if everything would be working and available to us. He said “yes”, but that wasn’t the case. A few of the leather sofas were ripped with the stuffing coming out and I did bring this to his attention and he said he didn’t know about that but he would fix it. We didn’t use the hot tub because of the reviews about it and although it may have worked we didn’t want to chance it. The rooms are clean and are equipped with TV’s and Roku but for most of them if you don’t have your own streaming accts you cannot watch anything. One of the bedrooms needs a new mattress because my sister was very uncomfortable with it sinking in. There was no wine as listed. I get the impression that this host is just in it for the money, and that’s fine but you can still make sure that you give what you list and you check on your guests to make sure they have what they need. But it was clean and that was great! We should’ve checked the reviews first before deciding, hopefully he will make changes to his hosting
