The Melrose Georgetown Hotel

8/10 Good

"Primero quisiera resaltar la ubicación del hotel que es excelente. Tuvimos una muy buena estadía en una suite , amplia y cómoda. El personal fue muy amable tanto en el counter como en el desayuno. Sin embargo, ya deben remodelar algunos acabados del hotel que están desgastados y cambiar las toallas. Las almohadas eran incómodas. Me parece que podrían remodelar ya que hay acabados"

Holiday Inn National Airport/Crystal City by IHG

8/10 Good

"The water quality is absolutely terrible at the hotel. It stinks of a swamp. Despite the Kurig coffee maker in the room it is impossible to use it because of the water. Inside Kurig it smells very bad, too. There is no hot water for tea or noodles anywhere at the hotel. The front desk staff are pleasant, but not actually helpful due to general ignorance about their job. They just don't know."

The Watergate Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was great. My only suggestion is that - sadly the pastry nook is closed. There isnt an option for a coffee bar complimentary. I had to get coffee from the restaurant for my partner when he was sick- I bought two coffees so he would not have to make a trip and it was over $20 for a couple of coffees (I got one). I was like - this is kinda silly. And parking valet is the only option if not on the street parking and that is $65 a night. So it was wonderful but - it would be great if those little things were complimentary. The food was good at the restaurant. Not great but good. The best thing besides the view from our room - was the staff is very good. Everyone is VERY good. Maybe I could say - they are great. The lady who checked us in - the cleaning team- anyone I asked for anything - the doormen (doorpeople) - the people in the restaurant and bars. Very good staff. The hotel is a little "dated" but I hope it stays kinda retro because it is a historic hotel. I just hope they somehow do something even if they have to add $20 a night to the rooms - to have the valet parking be free and give the visitors a free coffee barn downstairs. My room only had one coffee cup and no milk so making coffee in the room did not work."
