This property more than lived up to our expectations, situated in a popular seaside town it served as a great base location that enabled us to take several day trips, and several other trips a little closer to our temporary home.
We found the house to be clean on arrival, and well stocked with more of the basics that you could reasonably hope for, as well as a nice arrival pack containing some local produce. The rooms are all exactly as described, and we thought the property was great value for money even though we were a reasonably small group compared to the size of the house.
People flock to the town on a sunny day, and it was great to be just 5 minutes walk from the beach during something of a mini heat-wave. The local town is reasonably small, so we ended up travelling the short distance to Coleraine for the bigger shopping trips, but from day to day the local stores have more than enough to keep you going.
The owners were extremely helpful and quick in getting back to any questions, and this was despite them being on holiday themselves at the time of our visit.
It's true there is no wifi, though the house is stocked with various toys, DVDs, (mainly kids/family films), games, and a Wii console for entertainment. However I found that any time I needed internet access, the phone coverage was surprisingly good for a coastal town.
