Great house in great village
The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Castle rock, about five minutes walk from the beach. From the outside it looks like a traditional three bedroom bungalow but first impressions bely a cleverly extended home that sleeps 11. The bedrooms are well proportioned and comfortable on multiple levels. There's two sitting rooms, one with a wood burner, and the heart of the house is a large kitchen/dining room with a large table that invites a big meal (during our stay we actually cooked a Christmas dinner). Castle rock is an unpretentious village with wonderful walks, a single bar/restaurant where the staff really work hard, a delightful craft shop and a couple of the most welcoming coffee shops. We were there in winter when it was very quiet, very cold and a little wet, but I reckon it would be a great venue for a summer break. That was just what we wanted. This was a great long weekend in a great house. Thoroughly recommended.

Great sized property for a couple of small families to share cost.
Love Castlerock !! Great beach and not too busy! Probably more like 10 min walk from beach , but still very accessible. House equipped with all you would need, plenty of space and beds!!! Perfect for a couple of families with small children to get away and share the cost!! Overall we enjoyed our stay. Many thanks.

Lovely Family Home
The house was really nice and the area was nice and quiet. The surrounding area was wonderful to explore, with the location being close to major tourist attractions and shopping. The house is very large and spacious, with 3 bedrooms on the lower mezzanine level, and a sun room located on this level too. There are 2 bedroom and a bathroom upstairs. There is a TV room, dining, kitchen and laundry located on the ground level. The kitchen and laundry are very well equipped, with everything you need to feed the brood. The owner came to meet us at the property after a day of journeying to welcome us and to make sure we were settled and knew how to work heating and hot water. We really enjoyed our stay here and will book again when visiting Northern Ireland! Thank you

Celebrating New Years Eve
This is the second time myself and my group of friends and our kids have used this property to stay in to spend New Years. Perfect size of house for us all and perfect location for walks to the beach or 2 minutes in the car to Mussenden. Stephen is a great host, always at the end of the phone if you need him but also respects your space as it's your holiday time with family and friends. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use again for a 3rd time.

Great for a family and exploring
Stayed here with extended family for which the house is ideally suited - plenty of room for the children to play whilst the adults relax in a comfortable sitting room. It is also well situated for an excellent local beach which is only a few minutes walk away whilst being very convenient for visiting the stunning North Antrim Coast. We would strongly recommend this property for a large family group.

Property as described.Comfortable beds and plenty of space for size of party(5 adults and 4 children) plus family pet. Clean with good kitchen layout. Lots of hot water. Plenty of room outside with private garden and patio. Would highly recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay at Stephens property. The communication with Stephen was good, information was concise and clear. Check in and out with the lockbox makes life very simple and no need to worry about meeting someone at the property at a given time. The location was quiet and relaxing and the property itself is deceptively large. It accommodated four adults and six children with room to spare. There was very little that we needed to bring in terms of essentials, all of these things such as tea / coffee, cooking oil, bin bags, cleaning products were all provided and we appreciated that very much. The facilities were excellent, cooker, dishwasher, fridge etc all in good order and clean. With three bathrooms in the property we were very well catered for in that regard. All in all would have no hesitation in recommending Stephens property to anyone, suits large parties well and is spacious and bright and a generally very comfortable place to stay.

Great house for large group close to many attractions
This house was perfect for our family of 6. It is stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the sun room and views of the flower garden. Very close to Downhill home which is a beautiful place. Also close to Dunluce, Giants Causeway and Bushmills Distillery. Very clean, in a quiet place and roomy. Stephen was a great host. We would definitely recommend this house!

Castlerock Easter Holiday
We had a wonderful family time in Castlerock. 3 generations and the dog. The house is located 5 mins walk to the beach which was perfect for early morning dog walks & body boarding. The weather was superb as well.

A very nice, spacious and clean house, only a 5 minute walk away from the beach. Although we didn't see the owners we felt very welcome. Thanks for the eastern eggs! Thanks for the mail! We had only one difficulty: how to sort out the garbage. There are three bins outside with different colours but also with garbage in it, clearly not sorted out. A suggestion: a paragraph in the information book about what to put in what bin. We are from Belgium and here there are very strict rules about sorting out. Thanks for letting us stay in the house. We will recommend it.

Beautiful, clean and spacious place
This was such a lovely air bnb to stay in for the amount of people we had, as each person basically had their own room. There was a full kitchen included with all the appliances and accessories to allow us to cook large dinners. The atmosphere of the place is very homely and there was plenty of things do in the area. The community of people were all so friendly and welcoming, which made our stay all the better! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet and cozy place to spend a weekend at.

This property is very comfortable and well equipped. All of the rooms feel like a family home rather than just a rental space. There is attention to detail to provide things to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable such as children's toys and family board games. There is something for each generation. Wonderful place to stay in Castlerock, Nothern Ireland!
This home is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Giant's Causeway Coast. The home has everything a family could need for a holiday and is a 5 minute walk to the Castlerock beach.

This home is spotlessly clean and much bigger than photos suggest. We loved the sunroom. Easy walk to pub and cafes. Beautiful drive to Giant's Causeway and Portrush . Our family of eight had a great time.

The perfect place
We absolutely loved staying in this wonderful home. Very close to the beach and train station. The house had plenty of room for our group of five. Our host was great. We got a little lost walking from the train to the house but the friendly neighbors helped us get to our destination. Wonderful little town with great people and absolutely gorgeous beaches. The perfect place to stay between the hustle and bustle of Belfast and Dublin. Wish we would have stayed longer here versus the larger cities. Next time!

Our extended family had a great trip here. Good base to explore north coast.
Property was deceptively big and very clean. Stephen met us on arrival and was very helpful with information and instructions for the house. The open kitchen, dining & living area was great for everyone to be together. The house is a short walk to the lovely beach and also the playground.

Nice Place!
This place was way more than the two of us needed, but the location was right! After sleeping on smaller beds most of the week, it was nice to spread out a little! It was too cold for the beach - but this would be an ideal space if that's what we were here for! the owner was helpful and nice and we really enjoyed our stay here!

Very comfortable home with a delightful host
This home was lovely. Lots of bedrooms with attached bathrooms perfect for a large group like ours. The home was clean and comfortable. Stephen was very kind and stopped by even though we arrived late in the evening. He showed us the home and made sure we had everything we needed. He even ran to the store and grabbed some milk for us before it closed. We loved our stay here

Brilliant time spent with friends and family for New Years

Great House, Just Like Home
We had a great experience at the Seaside Bungalow. Stephen welcomed us and met us at the house even though we arrived much later than planned. We had all the amenities we could ask for and more. We had plenty of room for our family to spread out and even laundry facilities! There was a beautiful garden and lots of windows for natural light. While we were there we went to Mussenden Temple, a must see, which wasn't far away from the bungalow. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Highly recommended
This property more than lived up to our expectations, situated in a popular seaside town it served as a great base location that enabled us to take several day trips, and several other trips a little closer to our temporary home. We found the house to be clean on arrival, and well stocked with more of the basics that you could reasonably hope for, as well as a nice arrival pack containing some local produce. The rooms are all exactly as described, and we thought the property was great value for money even though we were a reasonably small group compared to the size of the house. People flock to the town on a sunny day, and it was great to be just 5 minutes walk from the beach during something of a mini heat-wave. The local town is reasonably small, so we ended up travelling the short distance to Coleraine for the bigger shopping trips, but from day to day the local stores have more than enough to keep you going. The owners were extremely helpful and quick in getting back to any questions, and this was despite them being on holiday themselves at the time of our visit. It's true there is no wifi, though the house is stocked with various toys, DVDs, (mainly kids/family films), games, and a Wii console for entertainment. However I found that any time I needed internet access, the phone coverage was surprisingly good for a coastal town.

We had a fab time at No.14.....train is so handy & 'The Rock' restaurant was delicious!! Wld definitely recommend this home.....especially families....we plan to use it again soon....if possible!!

Good location, well-furnished, roomy
We stayed here June 4-6, with a total of 8 people. House was well stocked, spacious, and offered many sleeping options for our group. Kitchen is large and easy to use. The largest bedroom on the main level has an en-suite bathroom. All other toilet facilities are shared. Good hot water service -- even for a large group. Lack of wifi service was the only reason we could not give 5-star rating. For people travelling from outside the country, reliable and cheap Internet access is highly valuable. House offers easy access to Derry, beach/water activities and there entire Antrim Coast (Giant's Causeway, etc.). Belfast is not far either. Owner was friendly and responsive. Overall, excellent value.

We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The only amenity missing was wifi.
We only stayed one night but the owner had provided a hospitality basket with coffee, cheese and biscuits which was a pleasant surprise. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable and if we are in the area again we would stay here again.

Ruhig gelegen und sehr viel Platz
Wir (fünf Männer aus Deutschland 47-54 Jahre) waren fünf Nächte dort und hatten Platz ohne Ende. Haus ist zwar schon ein bisschen älter, aber alles sauber und in Ordnung. Strand ist in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, Allerdings ist zur Nebensaison im Ort nichts los. D.h. für Pubbesuch, Essen, einkaufen usw. braucht man auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Standort ist aber ideal um diese Ecke der grünen Insel zu erkunden z.B. Inishowen, Derry, Portrush, Causeway Coast usw.. Alles in allem ein paar perfekte und erholsamen Tage.
