"I should have listened to some of the warning reviews about this motel, but we were in a pickle and need a quick, affordable spot for the night. The mildewy, musty smell coming from the bathroom and AC/heater unit was overwhelming when we entered the room. We had to leave the door open for a bit and used air freshener before we could breathe comfortably. The floor is dark and just gross. The bathtub drain doesnt work well at all. The bed and linens, though actually felt clean and we slept...

"The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was ready and hot although some items were not as tasty (hashbrowns) as others. I cant speak on the pool since I did not use it. We enjoyed the proximity to Musgrove Mill Battlefield right down the road and Blue Ocean Seafood and Roc Burgers! "

"Great value for the money. Furniture was a bit shabby, but room was very clean and had fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. Bed was very comfortable, but bedspread had cigarette burn and tear on back side. Again, bit shabby, but I care more about clean. After attending a marching band competition I didn't want to drive home but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Would definitively stay again under similar circumstances. "
