"The property was as expected on arrival and it accommodated my family of 7 perfectly. It was centrally located to all of our planned activities at the Gorge. The kids enjoyed fishing at the pond in our down time and the adults enjoyed the view from the deck. The host was responsive to our needs and made our stay more enjoyable. I would recommend this property to my family and friends planning a trip to the Red River Gorge area."

"The cabin was everything shown in the listing. What I liked the most was that it was set off the street ona flat lot with a small staircase to the wonderful porch. A lot more private than many of the other cabins. The area is beautiful and serene. "

"We (myself, husband, 2 teens and a 10 year old) loved our 3 night stay at Fels Haus! Most importantly for me, it was clean, felt safe, no bugs, shower was hot and water pressure was good! In addition though, it was beautiful, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. It was located a few steps from Cliffview Lodge where we sat on the deck and enjoyed watching the zipliners come in. Hot tub was so nice and relaxing! The mattresses on all 3 beds are very firm, I personally would have preferred a slightly softer bed but it wasn't a big deal. There is also only one tv and it's in the living room. My tv loving family would have liked tvs in the bedrooms, but again, first world problem, no big deal. 😄 I actually grabbed a book from the collection there and read the whole thing, which was nice. And the kids took turns watching the tv in the evening while the others got in the hot tub. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin and would stay again! "

"The property was just what we expected and was almost perfect for our church staff retreat. The kitchen was amply stocked with cookware and dishware. The living areas were comfortable - not big, but perfect for our team of five. The bathrooms were great. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was perfect at the end of each day. The decks looked out on beautiful woods. We had a blast and got our planning for the coming 25-26 school year well underway.Just a few things ... First, only 1/3 of the burner on the grill worked, so it took a while to cook our protein. Second, the spiral staircase is narrow. We managed it, but the house would not work well for people who would have trouble navigating stairs, especially a spiral set. Third, the cabin is hard to find. Data is sketchy and GPS did not work. The directions from Scenic rentals were not easy to follow. We finally found a map of the property at the Cliffview lodge, located Crows Nest, took a picture of the map and used that to find the cabin. It would be helpful if they would give you a copy of that map and circle your cabin when you are checking in. Once there we dropped GPS pins so that could find our way back after dinner at MIguel's Pizza - a definite "must eat" in the Natural Bridge/Red River Gorge area."
