"There was no heat in the rooms so I needed two blankets and two comforters. The floor in one of the bathrooms was in need of repair. It was very noisy especially in the basement room. I was able to change room for the last night. The staff is not available all day, so you need to call or go to the pub next door if your key or your heating does not work. The carpets outside and in the hallways are old and dirty, especially in the basement rooms. There was a microwave in one of the rooms but no dishes nor cutlery. There is a nearby cafeteria for meals but I had to find it in my own since the pub restaurant only opens at 11:00 for breakfast. It should not be called a Boutique Hotel. The only good thing is the location close to museums, stores, restaurants and subway."

"We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and honestly much better than we expected for a 3-star hotel. The rooms and common areas were well maintained, and everything felt fresh and welcoming. The location is excellent and made it very easy for us to get around Toronto and visit different attractions. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toronto looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay."

"You can’t beat the location of this hotel. It’s the classic, Yonge meets Bloor. I get to see my family in 20 minutes. Amazing room, it’s quiet and the staff is attentive and went above and beyond. Ask for a kettle, it doesn’t come with one. And the room is pretty high-tech; it took a while to figure out how to turn on the lights. I arrived at the hotel close to midnight, and the hotel informed me that they had sold out the whole hotel including my confirmed room. The assistant manager owned up to the problem and tried to explain diligently to me what they would do to me next. To my absolute surprise, they upgraded me to a beautiful suite the next day I got back. They won me back. They turned a negative NPS into a very positive NPS and I already booked my next stay. "
