"Nice property. Very quaint heritage home. Liked the hosts and breakfast. Located close to the CBD, with an uber trip to the CBD costing about $11 (or a half hour walk if you prefer). The shared bathroom is a bit inconvenient for the price but otherwise good."

"One of a kind, large, five star bed and breakfast near to restaurants, downtown! Hosts were amazing to talk with and breakfasts were delicious. Rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally specious! Hot showers with excellent water pressure. Quiet with gardens all around. Amazing views! You can’t beat this place!! Well come again and again! Ruth"

"The hosts were excellent - very welcoming and went the extra mile for our kids when they asked to pat the dog or for a hot chocolate at breakfast time. The five-o-clock wine time was a lovely chance to chat with other guests from around the world. Very convenient location. Only downside is that it's an older building so the noise from Christchurch's boy racers can be irritating at night. A minor problem. We would definitely stay again."

"I absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful B & B. Warm, inviting, kind, cheerful...It felt just like home!! The food, scenery and hostess were Amazing. It was a wonderful start to my vacation in New Zealand. I would absolutely recommend this B & B and hope I have another chance to spend time here again. A little note on the side... At the time when I was booking this B & B with this site, VRBO, I did not realize this is an American owned company and therefore the price is in U.S. dollars....

"This is just a normal family house let out in rooms. It is not a guest house or hotel. One room has en suite the orhers share a bathroom. Shared kichen etc. Owner lives elsewhere and tried to move us from the en suite room we had booked. We stayed one night then moved elsewhere."
