"This was a lovely hotel that was located downtown where we could walk to the botanical gardens, shops and restaurants. Even though they don’t have a 24/hr check in desk, they have an easy process to come in after hours. Rooms are nice with a boutique feel. In our room we had stairs and had 2 steps outside our door. If stairs are a concern for you, you may want to check with desk. FYI: A sight seeing tram stops right outside the hotel doors which you may hear at times but it wasn’t a concern for...

"Great hotel in the heart of Christchurch. Had a really new feel to it. Room spotlessly clean , bed comfortable with crisp clean linen. Good size room and bathroom. Shower powerful and hot. Roof top bar looked good but wasn’t open on the nights we stayed unfortunately. (Sun/Mon) Would definitely stay again. "

"Excellent stay with friendly and helpful staff in this boutique luxury hotel. We were welcomed with chocolates and a gift bear, “George.” The lobby was very welcoming with multiple seating areas. There were complimentary apples in baskets on the different floors. There is a reading library and an outdoor garden, as well. Our room was very well appointed and comfortable. We could not hear our neighbors. The restaurant was excellent. The food was well prepared. We would gladly eat there...
