"Breakfast was good "

"We booked a standard king room. When we checked in the air conditioning wasn’t working. Called the front desk and asked for it to be repaired or to switch rooms. They switched us rooms no problem. When we got to the new room we were given a room with two queen sized beds. We called and asked about the room type switch and the clerk said the room was an upgrade and that she has told me about the room type change at the front desk. I know that she didn’t as I would have told her we need a king bed. I also told her fine we have to get up at 3am to catch our flight we will stay but how about a discount for the room for the inconvenience. She again told us that the new room was an upgrade from the old room. I’m not sure how that works because on Expedia it’s about $30 more for the standard king over the standard two queen. Long story short we were overcharged for a cheaper room type and lied to by the front desk clerk about the conversation we had in the lobby. I won’t be staying there again."

"Convenient location for my concert at BC place Stadium - 3 mins walk. Lots of restaurants around too. The hotel rooms are dated. The linen smelled heavily like bleach. Noise levels - are definitely not quiet - outside noise you can hear at night. Lighting in bathroom area low to do makeup and get ready for event. "

"The only serious negative was the need to run the tap for 10 minutes to get hot water."

"Clean rooms, friendly staff and very convenient location. The only disappointment was the gym, pool and hot tub, they are super outdated. Otherwise nice stay. "

"After a long 16 hour day of travel it was so nice to be greeted by extra friendly staff and to get a good rest in a comfortable bed. The room was immaculate with all the amenities you could need."
