Your China Holiday Itinerary
Day 1-3: Shanghai is the perfect place to begin your trip to China. Shop up a storm on Nanjing Road, then sample some exotic street food at People’s Square. Next, head to the Bund, Jade Buddha Temple and Yuyuan Garden and Bazaar. Cruise the winding canals of the “Venice of the East” at the charming Zhouzhuang Water Village.
Day 4-5: Fly north to the nation’s capital, Beijing. Spend a day checking out Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the picturesque Summer Palace. In the evening, pick up souvenirs on Wangfujing Dajie (the Golden Street) or relax and unwind at one of Sanlitun’s glitzy nightspots. Start the next day with a hearty breakfast — the Great Wall of China awaits!
Day 6-7: Ride the train to Xi’an. Visit the iconic Terracotta Warriors then explore the expansive fortifications of the City Wall and the fascinating Muslim Quarter.
