For our purposes, it was good to be near a Trader Joe's and Target. We bought gifts from these locations rather than bringing them with us. Good to know about if one is visiting family or friends in this area.

When driving by car down Wisconsin Ave, traffic lights are long and stop and go. Not good if going to an event in short notice.

"My family had a great time staying at Hugh's lovely place. Hugh is very warm, responsive and friendly. The rooms are quiet, clean and spacious with excellent noise insulation between rooms. Both my husband and I had worked remotely during our stay and this is a huge plus for us when we had meetings in separate rooms! Highly recommended to someone who are traveling to DC area and considering a family-oriented and safe neighborhood. "
