"The room was exceptional. The location is great. It is easy access to the 401 has restaurants near by and the casino next door. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a great selection for the complimentary breakfast. They currently have renovations going on but it was quiet and clean."

"Wow, what a beautiful property and clearly loved and cared for. My partner and I booked a 2-night stay at Meadowcroft and we were really struck by its beauty. We wanted to escape the city and celebrate together in a quiet, green, and private setting. I can’t imagine anywhere else could’ve matched our needs more perfectly!On top of its beauty and tranquility, the hosts clearly put in effort to make our stay thoughtfully comfortable in a way that far left us appreciative and touched. Cant recommend enough (already have!) and looking forward to returning, too. "

"Overall, we had a terrific time at the house. There are a few things that really need addressing before you would reach an excellent rating. The outside of the building facing the lake is in a terrible state, it needs a complete freshening up including repairs to the deck surface. A proper and safer way to access the beach would also be very welcome. We were unable to light the gas BBQ, we could smell the gas but it would not ignite. The striker mechanism did not work at all. Inside, the shower in the master bathroom could not be turned on, just the tub. The controls on the gas stove in the kitchen were difficult to use and very imprecise. The oven took a long time to heat up. You have a terrific place there but it needs to have some updating and some cosmetic work done before I would consider renting again. "This property was a cozy homebase for our family as we explored Chatham and the surrounding area. We appreciated the full kitchen and saved a lot of money eating most meals in. Dining on the backyard patio was especially relaxing. The fenced-in yard offered peace of mind, the property was well maintained, the neighborhood was safe and quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Host was responsive when we needed to get in touch. We would definitely book again."
