"The property owner was very unresponsive. It was missing a few important amenities, which we then purchased under our own cost. Although the owner promised that we will be reimbursed for the cost, no actual reimbursement was given. There were water leakage in multiple spot which the owner failed to provide any solutions on. "We loved our stay here. Villas El Encanto is located in a quiet residential area with lots of lovely bakery and breakfast options nearby. Our accommodation was excellent. 5 of us (incl 3 teenagers) stayed in a very cool and comfortable family cabin with filtered water and a fully equipped kitchen area. We enjoyed the pool area as well as the pretty garden. Thank you so much for a lovely stay - the kids were very sad to say goodbye to the dogs :-)"
"Needs new furniture. All the furniture dinning and living room furniture old and stain. Needs Shower doors in all bathrooms. Water was going all over the floor. Needs new Kitchen cabinets. Rail in the stairs. My 88 yr old mother needed help to go up and down the stairs. Needs new toilet seats covers. According, to a lady is not a hotel and they only gave us 6 towels for 7 day stay. We had to go to a laundry mat to wash our towels.

"Traveled with a group of 6 and we had a great time. Had a 3 bedroom that gave us plenty of space. The water was amazing for snorkeling, kids loved the pool. Staff was great, favorite restaurant was the grill by the water and buffet for breakfast. The other restaurant for dinner was just okay, took at least 2 hours each night to eat dinner, service was very slow and food at times was not good.
Over all minus dinner we had a great time"

"We absolutely enjoyed staying at this property! The location with a beach area and decent snorkeling out front was wonderful and made it so we could just stay put and relax on site if we wanted. We enjoyed the resorts on each side for activities and eats and drinks. This unit was very clean and maintained daily by staff. The occupants around us were all very enjoyable. We would rent a car or motorcycle next time just because taxis aren’t consistent with prices but are mostly readily available if need one. Also enjoyed cooking on site and would get to grocery store sooner since resorts close by 5pm and not much for food in this area once they are closed. We would love staying here again if we decide to come back to Cozumel."

"The condo was in great condition. It had everything we needed-- in the kitchen, in the bathroom, washer & dryer, living area.The location is perfect. The beach was perfect for snorkeling, the pool was right there for relaxing, and there were bars and light restaurants within walking distance.Overall the check-in process was smooth, and everything was easy, just as a vacation should be!"

"Paula and Saul (the property manager) were excellent communicators and answered our questions leading up to the stay promptly. Although there was an electrical issue (that could not be fixed until after our stay) that prevented us from staying in this condo, Paula acted quickly and communicated with me the issue at hand. She arranged, with our approval, another condo in the same complex for us to stay instead which worked out perfectly. We can’t thank her enough for doing that for our group, as most renters would just cancel the stay. We have stayed in the Paradise condo complex twice now in two other condos and love this area. The beach front is nice and a restaurant right next door. Although it did not work out this trip, we will definitely stay at Paula’s place in the future! "
