"Very cute cabin with everything we needed and everything was clean. Loved the layout and how cozy it felt. The back porch was even fenced off so my dog could go out there. It was within walking distance to Big Bear Mountain (about a 13 minute walk) which made snowboarding early very easy. We did have a problem with no hot water coming from the shower, but the owner was immediately responsive and had someone come out to fix it very quickly. Overall it was a great stay and very dog friendly. "

"We really enjoyed this wonderful cabin! We were lucky enough to be there during a snow storm and they have a great hill for sledding. The pool/pingpong table kept us busy for hours! "

"This is a lovely house, very close to Bear Mountain. The great room is perfect for group activities and the hot tub was much appreciated after skiing. There are some things that could use updating (the glasswear, a few lightbulbs, etc) but it's very homey and comfortable."

"Pros: great communication with owner, messages were helpful and prompt, very convenient location to ski Bear Mountain, pleasant walking in the neighborhood, very family friendly cabin. Clean accommodations, Nice toiletry products, great outdoor private patio spa hot tub, fun game room with pool table, shuffle board table and vintage arcade games ( the adults liked, the kids were not amused) . Kids loved the bunk beds, extra blankets very helpful for a cozy night. Cons: the master bed mattress was so-so, the bed pillows lumpy and cheap, bring an eye mask if you need a dark room for sleeping, the kitchen pots and pans need an upgrade-used too long, burned out light bulbs and broken random lamps here and there, not enough seating at the dinning table ( only seats 4 people at dinner table). The cabin did not have enough towels for 7-8 people to shower and use the spa/1 large towel per person. Overall, very pleasant stay 4 out of 5 stars. I would book again for the ‘average rate’ weekends for this cabin. Caution on the value of the cabin if booking a high season rate. "

"This was the perfect place for our family and friends. Loved that we could walk to the mountain for boarding. The spa was great for the aching muscles afterward. The 3 teenage boys took over the downstairs living space and really enjoyed the air hockey and foosball. "

"The main house had a problem with keeping heating consistent; the detached casita has a problem with the bedroom floor being wet due to moisture seepage, the water heater wasn’t turned up so during my son’s initial shower, he ran out of hot water 3 minutes into shower, the next morning he located water heater & made temp adjustment. Pictures on Vrbo stated a queen size bed located off kitchen with step in shower-it was a twin size bed which did not accommodate my husband & I-the manager suggested they bring a blow up air mattress-which was not going to accommodate my 81 year old husband. There wasn’t enough silverware or bowls, so manager had to bring items the next day."
