Relais Val d’Orcia was a lovely place in beautiful Val d’Orcia .Everything was perfect from services to accommodation. It only opens few years ago and it’s just beautiful. Very comfortable bed, big room, spotlessly clean bathroom and an indoor parking. You get a great view of the Tuscan valley from every window in your room. It is very close to towns like Pienza and Montepulciano, only 20 minutes drive. It is a place to stay if you’re in Tuscany .

Travelled with my wife and only chose the town because she was keen to experience the nearby Bagni San Fillipo.But Gli Archi and the town Abbadia San Salvatore both pleasantly surprised us. The house and our room were spotless and the owner lovelly.Room was huge and breakfast tasty. The Abbadia (Abbey) proved to be memorable,especially the multi columned crypt! Nearby Ospedale was perfect for all day free parking an easy walk from B&B.

The first thing I will say is just how amazing the staff here was; I booked the last room at a good rate, and although it was not one of the super fancy suites, it was still a great stay and the staff really made that happen. One of the days, I went to breakfast and was overcome by not feeling well. I apologized and had to leave the breakfast room. They so kindly packed me food and tea on a tray and brought it to my room for me to eat later when I felt better. I loved how central this location...

The host is incredibly lovely, helpful & hard-working. The property is wonderful with great views & outdoor area to enjoy breakfast & relax after a long day sightseeing. The breakfast provided was extensive and delicious. The shower was great & was always hot. The bed was so so comfortable, not rock hard like other beds I have experienced in Italy. It’s outside the city walls but only a 10 minute walk uphill or downhill to & from Porta Maggiore or a couple more around to the escalator & lift up...
