"This is my second time at the Santa Fe. This time we travelled with our friends and had our room in building 4. We were very happy again with the resort, the staff and the cleanliness and the food was great. We stayed for 10 days and only have one complaint. The Steakhouse needs an overhaul on how it handles its visitors. We went twice during our stay. The first time we were told they didn’t take reservations and gave us a buzzer and said it would be about an hour. We got in 90 minutes later. Service and food was wonderful on that occasion. On February 1st we attended again and were given a buzzer and were told an hour to hour and 15 minute wait. After an hour and a half we returned to see how much longer only to find people on the waitlist after us had already been let in. Other people waiting said they were told to come at a certain time to get in with no buzzer. One couple complained and was allowed in while another couple guests who were told to come in were then told to get back in line while the couple who complained got in. The lady working giving out buzzers asked me 5 times for my room number and how many guests. We finally got in almost 2 and a half hours after signing up. The waiter basically ignored us, table wasn’t cleaned, we had to ask for silverware, had to ask for buns, were told there was no red wine but clearly saw there was and had to ask again for it. Horrible service. Otherwise the resort is fantastic. "

"Highly, highly recommend! A tremendous experience from start to finish. Worked beautifully for our group of 13 women for a bachelorette party. The neighborhood felt safe and even had a small cafe within a 5 minute walk (downhill) to grab coffee. House itself is lovely. Clean, polished, expansive, with multiple spaces for gathering and relaxing. Perfect for a large group. The view can’t be beat — especially from the infinity pool. Mattresses were comfortable, air conditioning was cooling. Of note, two of the bedrooms have separate entrances from the main interior of the house. Not an issue with a group of adults, but would note if traveling with children. House was well stocked with necessary items.Marilu, the owner, was incredibly helpful and accessible. She aided in setting up all transportation and communicating with the transportation company directly. She was available throughout our stay and was quick to respond and solve any issues that arose. She connected us with chef Alex, who created a delicious dinner experience at the house. Housekeeper cleaned daily and efficiently. A wonderful stay! "

"The house is incredible! Hostess amazingly responsive and helpful and willing to fix any issues. The house attendant does an amazing job ninja style. Highly recommend and full 5 stars but I will share thoughts (that have been shared with hostess who I am sure will address what she can) that do not change my rating:1) 2 of the bedrooms are only accessible from the outside2) it is a long ride from the gate3) tons of moths and crickets - crickets not sure how they got into the house/rooms4) cannot control hot tub (temp and jets)5) would have been nice if someone greeted us to give us a tour of the houseOverall insanely beautiful home and high customer service from hostess so highly recommend and would go back no question.
