"We had a great stay. The Lodge is a revamped old-school motel, so the room and bath were a little small but still quite comfortable and perfect for our needs. Everything was new, including the carpet and modern furniture. Check-in was fast and easy. Friendly staff. Our room and the grounds were impeccably clean and neat. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Bonus perk was the delicious breakfast available at the Deli on the grounds. Great home fries. Sweet fruit garnish: an orange slice, a sliced strawberry, and a blackberry. "

"It was clean and I liked that there was an overhead light fixture...most hotels are so dark and this room had the ability to be bright but also soft lit. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was worn and needs to be updated to match the room. For the price, it was so much better than expected."
