"Beautiful Ocean Views, but Comfort and Dining Fall Short I spent one night in a first-floor ocean-view king suite with a large jetted tub. The view was absolutely lovely! I loved listening to the waves, and having immediate access to the ocean and shoreline trail was wonderful. The spacious room was clean, and the bathroom and shower appeared recently renovated. Unfortunately, comfort was lacking. The bed and furniture were quite hard, the baseboard heater had seen better days, and the sliding door required serious muscle to open! I couldn’t open the window either, which was disappointing since I’d hoped to fall asleep listening to the ocean. Plumbing noise from upstairs was surprisingly loud. The fireplace had no obvious controls, and unlabeled switches led me to accidentally turn on the tub jets! The restaurant staff were genuinely kind, although the leisurely pace of service may have tested my patience. Portions were enormous, but quality and flavor fell short. As a crab lover, I was disappointed that both the crab pot and crab cakes contained so little crab. The cakes were mostly breading. Breakfast was mixed: perfect eggs, great coffee, disappointing toast, and mediocre hash browns. I didn’t visit the pool. Overall, the spectacular location and friendly staff were highlights, but uncomfortable furnishings, maintenance quirks, and disappointing food detracted from the stay. I’d consider returning for the ocean views, but I’d eat elsewhere!"

"Great for an overnighter. If we were smarter, we might be able to learn these new tvs, but it would have been nice to have some information in the room regarding that as well as checking out instructions. Forgot to let the front desk know the hair dryer didn't work. Glad I brought my own. Overall, though, our room was well stocked, clean and comfortable."

"We have to say, this is the cleanest vacation rental we have ever rented. Most vacation rentals are clean enough, but this one was spotless. We had a pet friendly rental. You would never have guessed a pet had ever entered the rental it was that clean. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. There is a balcony off the living/dinning room and one off the bedroom. This property does have a quiet period making it a very peaceful place to stay. There were no late-night parties, or loud crowds. Everyone was respectful of the property rules. There is a beautiful courtyard to sit and enjoy the flowers on the property and the beach. For those including the family dog, they have stations on site with disposable bags to clean up dog waste and containers to dispose of it. There is no supply of spices to prepare meals. Those items would need to be personally supplied for personal use. However, we do not use spices and other items left in vacation rentals for varied reasons. We always either bring or supply our own and take them with us when we leave. Items supplied included coffee filters, paper towels, dish soap individual use pouches of coffee, sugar, wrapped tea bags. Supplied for personal use there was individually packaged soap and individual use shampoo, conditioner, lotion and makeup removers. The staff at this site were all very friendly and helpful."
