The grounds are beautiful! I had no idea that the whole entrance was under construction and we got lost.
Perfect for our trip to Yosemite National Park! 5 minute drive to the entrance. Plenty of room in the lodge with everything we could have needed for our stay. We had the loft room. Had a fun stay at this ultra kitschy hotel! We stayed in The Elegance room. Kind of creepy cool in the best way. I loved the little nook with the queen size bed. Nice to have that small space to myself. Downtown San Luis Obispo has a number of good restaurants and cute shops.
There was significant construction going on so that was a bit inconvenient. However, the lobby smelled wonderful.
