"Older style hotel in the centre of town. Has all you need in the apartments. Pool area only small with few sun beds. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff lovely. Walk to everything in town. "

"We travel through Cairns often and always love staying at the Benson because of the convenient location - it is surrounded by lots of cafes and restaurants, its walking distance to both Woolworths, Cairns Central shopping centre and also to the Esplanade. We had a great stay, easy and convenient. "

"Very close to reef terminal for tours. I loved the fact that towels were available as well as a free laundry facility. Staff is often not at the desk but they are often watching CCTV that covers the front desk and come when needed. It is very clean, towels are nice, location is close to many restaurants. They are well organized and check in went well. The rooms are serviced every other day routinely. They did forget my bath towels after service but this was minor in my opinion as you can get your own."
