"Room small, not room for 2 persons bags, odor in room (masked w diffusers), shower didn't drain, manager/concierge gave us the worst room even tho we decided to stay extra night. However we still liked the hotel..maybe better room next time"

"My husband and I enjoyed 10 nights at the Castellmar. The building is older and the bathroom could use a face lift but everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The deck off the living room was huge and we enjoyed our partial view of the sea. I would recommend this property for the price even though the walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbours. "

"My wife and I stayed here for one week. We originally thought it was closer to Barcelona than it actually is. But that wasn’t a problem as the nearby train station (4-5 blocks) is convenient and runs frequently. We did make the mistake of thinking all the return trains make all the same stops. They don’t, as we found out as our stop went right past us. We got off at the next station, waited less than ten minutes for the next train heading back which did make our stop. Lesson learned. "Balcony twin bed - clean and correct & shutters were great peace of mind. The continental buffet breakfast was delicious- perfect spot near amenities & beach for walk 5 mins - kettle & hair dryer in bedroom. Usb bed lights were great and i enjoyed a great night sleep with free wi fi. Would book longer stay next time & highly recommend "
