"The place was a bit older than it looked in the photos, but overall it was clean and quiet. The bed was a double, so it felt a little small for two people. One of the pillowcases had an unpleasant smell, so we couldn’t use it. There were some ants in the kitchen and bathroom, but it wasn’t a big issue if you don’t mind that sort of thing."

"The host and staff were amazing. They communicated with us throughout our entire stay. Helped with cabs, things to do, restaurants, getting usxan adapter. The list goes on. The apartment we stayed is was beautiful. We had a nice view of the river and overlooked a garden with a lemon tree. It was so charming. Right in the heart of Alfama. We loved it!"

"The hotel is well located, only a short walk into the centre of Cascais, very close to the marina. The central areas of the hotel are immaculate, as are the gardens and pool area. The breakfast buffet is beautiful, plenty of choice, fresh & always being re-filled. The fresh Orange juice is incredible! We had a problem with our room (it was a family room, facing the back, it was dark & a little damp) but we were moved quickly and efficiently. Michael on reception is so friendly and had lots of good recommendations for days out. We would return. "
