"Awesome stay with the family, super safe for the kids.and great choices when eating. Throughly recommend to stay here and will again on our return to Madeira. Have to say one of the best Mojitos I’ve ever had was here!! Too say the least, it wasn’t the only one ! 😁👍👍"

"We had an amazing stay at Casa Felix. The property is exactly as shown on the listing and is stunning. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable and well equipped. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable, although quite hard, and there were plentiful towels and good quality bed linen. The outside space is the real wow-factor and allows you to enjoy the spectacular view, which we never tired of looking at. Our check-in process was very smooth, and Celia met us at the property to complete a full hand over. She was very helpful and gave us recommendations for local services we may need. The villa is located at the top of a very steep hill. It is about a 15 minute walk down the hill to the port, but we didn’t attempt the walk back up. On a couple of occasions we got a taxi, but these were hard to find after about 9pm, even at the weekend, and there was no Uber service available. Therefore, most of the time we drove. I would recommend getting the smallest hire-car possible as the road is narrow, precipitous and incredibly twisty, best suited to very experienced drivers. Casa Felix is a stunning property that exceeded our expectations, and we very much enjoyed our time staying there."

"Unser Aufenthalt im Cliff House war einfach unvergesslich. Lieber Nelson, vielen Dank für deine außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft! Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir mit frischen Bananen aus deinem Garten und weiteren madeirischen Köstlichkeiten herzlich empfangen. Du warst jederzeit erreichbar, hast uns wertvolle Tipps für unseren Urlaub gegeben und jede Frage freundlich beantwortet.Das Haus ist für eine vierköpfige Familie ideal, zweckmäßig eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Das absolute Highlight ist jedoch die atemberaubende Aussicht. Wir konnten regelmäßig Delfine und sogar einmal Wale direkt von der Küche aus beobachten. Jeden Abend wurden wir mit traumhaften Sonnenuntergängen verwöhnt – ein Anblick, den wir nie vergessen werden.Der liebevoll angelegte Garten lädt zum Entspannen ein und der Gemeinschaftspool, den sich nur drei Häuser teilen, war jederzeit angenehm nutzbar.Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen im Cliff House verbracht und waren wirklich traurig, diesen besonderen Ort wieder verlassen zu müssen. Wer Madeira von seiner schönsten Seite erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!"
STONE HOUSE

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in Calheta bei Nelson im "Stone House" Das Haus hat 2 Etagen, im oberen Bereich die beiden Schlafräume und im unteren Bereich WZ, Küche und Bad. 2 Terassen mit Sitzmöglichkeiten direkt am Haus. Der Blick auf den Atlantik ist wunderschön. Ein paar Treppenstufen nach unten befindet sich der Pool, wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen! Man teilt ihn sich mit 2 anderen Häusern,aber wir hatten ihn oft für uns alleine. Das Haus war sehr sauber und die Küche mega ausgestattet! Nelson ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter, immer auf das Wohl seiner Gäste bedacht!Vielen Dank!"

"The management company, the location, the cleanliness, the overall quality of the apartment... None of this can be faulted. There are only two things keeping this from a five star review: the apartment is quite spacious (which is a good thing for three bedrooms), but the walls are bare and furniture is sparse, so there's a lot of echo. The main room in particular just didn't feel welcoming and cozy as a result. A bit more art and a few chairs would really help. Second, we rented this mainly for the spacious patio. Unfortunately, it only gets about 3-4 hours of sun per day, and in May the rest of the time we were huddled under blankets! If you know this going in, and/or plan to spend most of your time down at the beaches you'll be fine. You have access to a parking garage for your rental car, which is essential. There's a great cafe in walking distance, but you need to drive down to Calheta supermarket for groceries."
