"We just returned from a wonderful trip to Madeira. We spent about 3 weeks in Ponta do Sol in this wonderful villa - Casa Araujo.We loved the view from the house. The house was clean, check-in and communication with host were excellent. he wifi extenders were replaced when we pointed out that they weren’t working. The location was very quiet. We were in great shape from walking into town and back daily during our 3 week visit. We’ll definitely miss the workout when we return home! Very convenient location for driving around the island. All the restaurants in Ponta do Sol were excellent. We look forward to returning to Madeira, as this was our first visit."

"Front desk staff were very helpful arranging taxis for hikes. Seaview room was very spacious and bed was very comfortable Breakfast had a good variety of food. Tile in swimming pool was very slippery."

"The hotel is fairly high up the hillside, so the drive up is exciting! The hotel itself is amazing. We had a great corner room and balcony with amazing sea and valley views. The staff were very friendly. The only downside was the restaurant was only open for breakfast during our stay, so dinners had to be elsewhere. "

"This was a perfect place to stay for a week in Madeira! The house was very clean and well-maintained, communication with the host was excellent, check in was easy. Loved having a pool with such a beautiful view. Good spot to stay in to be close to hiking and amenities, but outside of the city centre. We loved our stay here!"
