Room was nicely appointed and felt well cleaned. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Reasonably good selection of snacks at the mini-store near the front desk. Breakfast is good, but bring some extra cash, as there is a tip jar. There is a small seating area outside off the breakfast area/bar in case one wants to eat or drink outside. There is a small (one washer, one dryer), clean laundry room available 24-7 on the 2nd floor.

Very clean, quiet, and safe property. Room size was exceptional and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast options were great, staff were friendly, and the location was convenient to many shops and restaurants. I’ll be using this property for my travels into Garden City.

Stayed at this property for 1.5 weeks in Aug 2024 Pros: Friendly staff esp. Miriam who looked after the breakfast area, housekeepers (who used translator as limited English), excellent hot food for breakfast (repetitive but way better than other hotel continental breakfasts), area seemed safe and was convenient for me (willing to drive into NYC and no parking fee at hotel) Cons: suggest additional hooks in bathroom esp. for families, frost shower door as no privacy, I could definitely hear the guest upstairs walking around at 4am, more towels in swimming pool area and perhaps update the color scheme in suites (my personal opinion)… last but not least room service is every other day so we had to ask for additional towels, toilet paper and kleenex. Verdict: Will book again next year if the price is right

Front desk staff was friendly. Couch in the room was comfy but a little too low for older guests. Otherwise, room was good. The front desk said that rooms were cleaned every other day, but mine wasn't cleaned at all while I was there for several nights. Breakfast was tasty, and the folks putting out the breakfast were friendly, but heads up -- there's a tip jar. I think Springhill Suites should pay their cooks a living wage so that they don't have to live off tips.
