"Having seen other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised to see that whilst the main areas of the hotel look a little outdated and in need of renovation, our room was clean and we were given a sea-view room. However, the toilet did not flush at all and the shower did not work; we only discovered this as we were getting ready for check out. There also appeared to be a potential asbestos risk with the flaking textured coating on the ceiling of the wardrobe with cracks in the ceiling and dust and debris on the shelf."

"We celebrated a family birthday at Abbots Cliff House recently and I cannot put into words how amazing our stay was. The location was beyond perfect, on the clifftop overlooking the channel. The property was tastefully decorated, spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay over two nights for nine of us. We were lucky enough to be spoilt by fantastic weather which made our stay even better. I cannot recommend this property enough, and look forward to our next visit. Thank you for making this occasion so memorable."

We had a sea view, but unfortunately, it was covered with scaffolding, which was disappointing! The breakfast was really nice, and you had plenty of choices to pick from. "
