The hotel is well located, with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. It is a busy area and there are some nightclubs near by; I didn’t have a problem sleeping, but if your are a light sleeper it may be too noisy for you. There are plenty of good restaurants to eat near by and it’s easy to walk to many places
Very central location so handy for all the action. The staff very helpful particularly Charne, recommended great restaurants and local points of interests.
Prim the manager was an angel! She took good care of me. The staff was impeccable and friendly. Everything is close and walking distance.
Will definitely be staying again here!
We loved our corner balcony room, just as pictured. The balcony was huge! Yes, there is music well into the night, but that didn't bother us at all, as we were aware of such beforehand .... just part of the street atmosphere. All staff we interacted with were very welcoming and helpful! A great stay!

The hotel itself and the staff were great. Hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful. However the noise from the bars around the hotel especially on a Friday and Saturday night is outrageous. Its really difficult to get any sleep at night due to this.
Generally, the hotel is good, save for the noise that comes from Marve bar, and the general alarming substance abuse, the staff is excellent, Tatenda, Chido, Shantel, Teeone, and a very super driver, Desmond, I will not hesitate to recommend the facility to anyone.
I felt at home, i was helped with charging my phone and laptop. i will always return there , once in Capetown.Thank you, siyabongo! Dankie! obrigados, shukran! Asante

the rooms are fairly adequate, and staff are polite. However, the property sits in a very noisy neighbourhood with a lot of loud noise from bars and night clubs throughout the night. The loudest techno music comes from a property directly below the property. The wall of my room room shook every night all the way to 5 or even 7 am. Ear-plugs, a/c and closing windows did not help. The staff tried calling the noise police and that did not help either. I am surprised no one has mentioned this, and that Expedia are marketing it all.
I stayed at the Hotel on a business trip for several nights. The staff, rooms and cleanliness of the hotel were of a high quality. I was particularly impressed by the helpful attitude of the staff. However, I cannot support staying there again due to the very loud music being played at the club/pub below the hotel until 2-2:30 in the morning that reverberated throughout the hotel, every night. I was told that in some cases that the very loud music can continue until 4 in the morning! Clearly, the management of the hotel is either unable or disinterested in solving the matter of the very loud music. Furthermore, it is disingenuous to advertise the hotel and not mention the problem with the very loud music. I was only warned about this when I checked in. Once again, thank you to the staff for their helpful attitude. I cannot say the same of the hotel management in solving this matter.
You are in the heart of the action, sound is a bit loud from the bars around but if you are a good sleeper, it's minor. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. Stayed 3 nights and felt like family from the moment we walked in. Staff are all so kind, personable and professional. Loved our stay here would absolutely recommend.

Super noisy due to bar and restaurant right across the street and next door
The service was good. Hotel clean. The environment was very noisy based on the night clubs around the area.

I have never stayed in so noisy a hotel room. My room was directly above a nightclub and my bed and walls vibrated with the music until 2am on Sunday evening. I checked out early because it was impossible to sleep.

The hotel is convenient but be prepared to brave the stairs. If u have large luggages the stairs will be problem. In addition if you are a light sleeper do not book this hotel as there is pub downstairs and night club across the street. The noise from the club and cars will be there until early mornings.

Should carry health warning above night club. Floor literally vibrates until 2am. Impossible to sleep had to move. Plus no provision for load shedding so having to stumble around in the dark. Really only for people that want to go out clubbing until 2am. Not staffs fault but Expedia should warn not for kids or anyone that wants any sleep at night.

Can‘t recommend at this point
First things first, I cannot recommend this hotel at all at this moment. To break it down, it’s so noisy, you can‘t sleep until 3-4am.
The clubs around the hotel play music until almost 4 am, the music is one thing, but the base which literally shakes the hotel room is incredible. So no sleep until 3-4am.
Beginning from 8am you can hear the staff on the hallway cleaning, laughing and smashing doors so that‘s basically your wake up call.
Additionally the hotel is built out of wood, so you always here anyone walking on the hallway.
The a/c has the worst positioning ever (at least in room nr 2), it’s located straight upon your head when you lie in bed… the cold air comes straight towards your face, the a/c is loud and the „on“ light of the a/c is so powerful and bright that it‘s hard to fall asleep when the a/c is on.
All in all I had to move the hotel even though I still had 2 nights left, but I really needed sleep und comfort.
Here‘s the good thing: I met the new owner, who takes over from 1st march and knows about all of these problems. He is Ana absolutely nice guy, and he wants to fix these problems asap. If you want to stay there, I recommend booking 1-2 nights and see if the hotel fits you.
I had booked a standard double room with this hotel but when I arrived, they told me I had been placed in an apartment across the street. This apartment required four different keys just to get into the room. The entrance was in an unsafe alley where people were smoking hookah in a van out front all night. The trip up the stairs to the apartment was very steep. The apartment itself was beautiful, but it smelled strongly of dog urine and the air conditioning was broken so two industrial fans had to be run all night. And the windows were open, which meant a lot of noise from the nightclub downstairs. A bunch of things in the apartment were broken, including the air conditioning, the shower door, some of the outlets. I complain to the staff and they tried to address the smell with an oil diffuser, but there was nothing they could do about the air conditioning. And the smell really didn’t go away.
In the morning I coordinated with the staff and Expedia to get a refund on my second night and state somewhere else. I was not happy with the hotel, but the staff did really try to address my concerns to the best of their ability.
I really feel they need to deep clean this apartment and not be double booking on travelers / putting them in alternative lodging.
