"What a great location, right by the beach. The sunset was amazing. The cottage we stayed in was very rustic but had everything we needed, apart from maybe a few too many mosquitoes so don't forget bug spray! It's literally down the road from waimea canyon and koke'e national Park. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kauai!"
"Nice spacious rooms with washer and dryer. Very limited free coffee, shampoo, conditioner. No restaurants in the hotel. Not walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants."
Adorable Studio, sleeps 3 - Totally renovated in 2018

"Just the right amount of space for me! My family was staying across the street and I just needed somewhere to sleep, I was mostly out. Very efficient little unit. It says it sleeps three but not sure how, that would be pretty tight. Perfect for two IMO.
The kitchenette was perfectly stocked. I made sandwiches for a hike and packed veggies for general snacking. There was even coffee provided!
Lots of water toys as well and beach chairs.
Great location. Can walk to a couple beaches (a bit of a trek), food trucks, and a coffee truck. It was lovely to be on the golf course and walk around there too. A little further walk will bring you to the main shopping center in town.
Overall, clean and functional, just what I needed. "
"My room was clean and the pool area, beautiful but I did look out on a barbecue station and there was a clunking noise from my neighbors pipes, I’m guessing. "
HBR Family Lockoff 1206, Mountain View, Close to the Pool Add'l Resort Fees
10/10 Excellent
"What a gem! Excellent resort amenities, wonderful views and centrally located close to the parking without sacrificing views. The resort pools and grounds - plus access to Pu’u Poa beach were the icing on the cake. The owners have boogie boards, coolers and chairs for use as well as basic utensils, coffee maker and fridge. Enough to be self sufficient"
"1 Hotel Hanalei Bay is the most spectacular hotel I have ever stayed at. From the views, to the staff, to the amenities, everything is top notch. I would 100% recommend everyone stay here."

"Really enfoyed the quiet relaxing atmosphere of the town and of the property. Beautiful property. Nice outdoor shower, used it for every shower. Found great bakeries and eats a couple miles away. Great place to get away from the high tourist areas."
