Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
My daughter and I visited for her birthday. My overall experience was good the highlight for us was the level of service from all staff members at the hotel they are all very nice and helpful the attention we received was great. Our room was comfortable and close to the pool and bar area as well as to the main entrance. The beach is just a few steps from the pool area and there’s plenty of seating. Be aware that a section of the hotel is under construction but it’s closed so it’s not an eye sore and there’s really not much noise from it. We dined at the Chianti which is Italian, Umami which is Asian and the Deck which has different culture foods on different days overall the food was ok I was expecting more of a traditional Mexican taste but I guess since there’s a lot of different cultures coming in they try to keep it simple so everyone can enjoy themselves. There’s also places to eat outside of the hotel if you’re looking for a more traditional restaurant. They have live music and entertainment at the hotel we personally loved the mariachi at the Deck and the saxophone player the Chianti there’s plenty of activities available if you want to venture out we did the Chichén Itzá tour which was great and we got must of our souvenirs form local people. There’s clubs, malls and different beach areas all closed to the hotel. The hotel is a bit out dated but for us the most important part was that it was clean.
