Really great place. And if you want to go to Isla Mujeres the boats leave literally at the back of the hotel. So convenient.

It was rough. We have stayed at other resorts with the same ratings and it we have not had a bad experience. Imperial Las Perlas needs LOTS and LOTS of improvement. The beds were either too old or too cheap, the mattresses were hard, the pillows? Oh jeez, they were the thinnest ones out there. We thought, well, the room is bad but as long as the food is good, it may balance it. NOPE! The food was always cold unless you are there between 7pm and 7:15pm... any time after that it was cold and not that many options either. The drinks had no ice, and they were not being fill back up constantly. The toilet didnt work properly. The outlets are high up on the walls, why???? The service was good, Ill give them that. We will never stay there again! We were out and about all day, so we didnt enjoy the pool, so we though... well, (fully aware od the rating) if we only need it to sleep and eat, its ok. Lord, how wrong were we. I dont recommend it at all.

Over all a good experience, the staff were very friendly. I want to specifically point out to Miguel who was at the front desk. Always ready to serve. However, this place is not best for the vegan/vegetarian for all inclusive. i had difficulty finding enough to eat. Even though rooms were clean i had cockroach in one room. But the staff immediately changed the room for me when I reported it to them. Place has great swimming pool views. Sea views were decent. Place was bit old and gave a rustic cottage vibes.

It’s better to choose a regular hotel with no all inclusive than to choose this hotel. Food is inedible, hotel is run down, rooms are dirty, stains on the wall, bedsheets, etc. It is so noisy throughout the night with inconsiderate people running up and down the stairs so noisily, you would think they are right next to you. The employees start their business so early in the morning, and the noise travels directly into the room, their loud voices, hammering sounds, loud laughters, make it impossible to sleep. Do yourself a favor and spend more and pick another all inclusive or get a regular hotel and order out. Ate here only once and ordered Uber eats rest of the stay. Terrible place.
