Do not stay here the place is incredibly run down front of house was very rude other staff are nice enough, phone in room didn’t work the 6 nights we were there even after complaining about it, didn’t get housekeeping second night and one morning we had no water at all for shower etc, front of house didn’t seem to care, many other customers had same problems if not worse, the place is very run down and no money being put back in, elevator wants to fall the bits and makes terrible sound also very noisy from hotel music inside room. Zero stars from me

This was an absolute horrendous stay. We stayed for 6 nights in mid may. Issue 1- the room: Most uncomfortable king bed I have ever stayed on, my partner and I ?have permanent lumbar issues going forward lol; it didn’t help the pillows were just little loose chunks of cotton that gave zero support. Room was not able to get below 77 F (25 degrees C)- just disgusting and muggy. Issue 2- amenities: -only 2 max restaurants open on one day, the “nice and fancy” restaurant Shangrila remained closed the entirety. Low number of staff on board. Food was MEH at best, and some was just brutal and tasted like days old leftovers. -drinks are HEAVILY watered down, could not even get a buzz and that’s sitting out drinking in the sun. - all bars close at ~10-1030 and no places to get drinks on hotel grounds for rest of the night except for this one gross dingy “60s room”, that is old and tinkers with these wax like sculptures and one in what can only be described as “black face”…really unsettling. - pool is ok, minimal chairs on beach and minimal umbrellas set up, if you weren’t there before 9 pm you ain’t getting one. Ocean was the only really nice thing. Issue 3- transportation: -no shuttle available from airport, scavenger shark cabs only way to get unless take and hour long bus past hotel into town and back (vs 20 min cab ride). - hotel helped get cab back to airport, still had to pay $50 USD for this nonsense for a not even 20 min ride. I would never go again.

This “resort” is run down. The staff does the best with what they are given. They try. There were days with no power, no water and some restaurants weren’t open. Small gnats come up out of the sink every night/morning. House keeping didn’t come every day. Booking excursions were a good escape (sadly) I did hear that the resort will be closing soon. It should and make room for the new, bigger and better place. The place is falling apart.

There were so many things that were issues. The air conditioning wasn’t working until day 5, there were multiple power outages. The phones in the rooms were props (they didn’t work at all) so while they offered room service, there was no was to phone for them. Food was not good. The water smelled like rotten eggs. There was no entertainment. Zero night life. The resort was very dated and run down. The bed was horrible. Like sleeping on plywood. It advertises as an adult only resort but it’s more of a 55 and over vibe. The positives were the staff. Friendly, kind, hard working and fun. Always apologizing for the issues and trying their best to help.
