The hardware of the resort is fantastic, from the entrance, reception, restaurants, pools to the villas. Although it is away from the city centre, the regular shuttle service brought much convenience for getting around. All staff are friendly and helpful, but there is a great room for improvement in terms of communications. We are disappointed about a number of arrangements caused by communication breakdown.
On our arrival day, the airport shuttle did not come as reserved, which already did not leave a good impression to us. After we checked in, we requested for the city shuttle service on the next day (the 17:30 one), but the staff told us that there was no record when we tried to get on the bus the next day. Third, on the 2nd night, we called up the operator to make a spa appointment for two on the 3rd day; when we arrived the spa centre, the staff there told us that there was no appointment record, which really ruined our plan! Besides, we approached the reception to request for a flower bath on the 3rd night; and when we came back at night, there was no set-up in our bathtub! Lastly, we were also disappointed that late check-out could not be arranged. Totally understand that it is subject to room availability, however we asked to extend check-out till 1 p.m. on our arrival day, eventually we were only told on our departure day that late check-out (1hr extension indeed) could not be arranged.
Our trip would have been perfect if the above had been arranged nicely.
