"This is a fantastic place to stay without question. The Host, Karla, is available on-demand and very responsive. The place has a full kitchen very well appointed. Sitting on the deck to watch sunset was an added bonus. Very private and quiet. Will be back for sure."

"Love the beautiful architecture and historical aspects of the property. Well located near the Cal campus and very convenient for public transportation. Breakfast was a lovely added bonus! Only detraction regarding the area is the homeless situation which is evident throughout Berkeley & SF. "

"Friendly staff, check in was straightforward and they let my group store our extra bags with them til our check in time. Only downside is the area it is in was a bit dirty and there were homeless people around (I went to the Taco Bell across the street and a homeless man threw a cup of iced water at a girl) So just have caution while walking around the area "
