Huge room and breakfast was amazing, truely four star. Walking distance to the Barbican area. Our only issue was we were on the top floor and there was no lift. 50 steps from the back car park. I am sure they would put a lift in if the building was not heritage listed. If you have mobility problems make sure to ask for a room close to the ground. Overall very impressive and good value for money all fittings and fixtures were high quality.

Property is adjacent to the beach area, we had a great view of the esplanade from our room. The check-in was great, probably the friendliest one on our 20 day trip around Europe. Room was run of the mill, bathroom could do with some modernisation together with some luxurious towels instead of the heavily used ones provided.

Comfortable base for exploring the city. Located in the heart of Kemptown, it is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars, and is within easy walking distance of many of Brighton's attractions. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and any enquiries straightforward. We had a fabulous stay, the host was so obliging and the cleaning team were very helpful. Our room was #5 was a good size and had a sea view. We stayed for 3 nights. Please note: The stairs are steep and the hand railing is low, which is to be expected in a home of this age. Might be a challenge if you have large luggage. Thank you to the White House a lovely spot to enjoy my celebration.
